Set off at 12.45 for a few hours around Amble, target mackerel for wife (she's getting as bad as Alan Charlton) and a try for pollack again! Macky's found in the North bay, good size fat un's at that. Trolled for pollack around the island and Hauxley, very patchy, only half a dozen good ones - the water was dirty in places where the ebb was bringing it out in shallow water.
Picked up this hitch hiker on the way back - think it was laughing at us, then again looking at it's pose I think it must be female!
Still it's better than sitting in the hoose.
