  • Bar one 16/6/15

I had the opportunity to jump aboard bar one yesterday providing I showed them a few wrecks and a few fish. Myself, Bob, Jed and San one Jeds brother in law from Korea which was to be his first ever fishing trip headed out about 5:30am.

After a forty minuite steam wreck one was Barron so off we went a bit further.

The next wreck produced well taking cod ling mackerel and pollock.

Jed landing the best pollock about 6lb -7lb (guesstimate)

Here's bob with one of his codling picture says it all. The pic was quickly sent to his brother at work , wind up merchants haha

The box was filling up nicely with a canny stamp of fish

After it went a bit quiet had another move as that tide was getting stronger. Once arrived at the new wreck lines went down and that tide was still away. We picked away for a bit, but as the tide slowed the fish started playing out again.

San one with the best cod of the day at 9lb weighed this one as its his biggest fish ever

Well done San one you were on form today

Biggest ling was taking by myself around 9 lb

Ended the day with about 80 cod 6 pollock, 6 ling and 50 mackerel

Back in for 1 I think it was, it was nice to get the smoker on can't beat the first smoked macky of the year mmmmm
Beat them in their own back yard
