  • Blyth Yakking - Sunday 6th

Well finally got out again on the yaks with a few of the lads, did not get out on saturday so was looking forward to sunday hoping for similar weather. Was a canny morning apart from the conditions which I don't think were forecast, we started off near the piers and steve was in to the mackies first drop which was a good start as lads coming off the pier as we were setting up said they had had nowt. A few of us decided to head further out as not picking up much near the piers unlike steve;D and we were pleased we did as it was fishing well with cod, coalies and jeff got a mackerel?
Most of the fish were taken by Tim (again ;D) and it was the pirk every time, he had 11 in total keeping 6.
Was a good slog back into the wind but enjoyed the morning out even though the fog rolled in near the end and the sea was building.

A few pics from the morning
