Yesterday,Seahouses was the venue for the above championships,with nine teams entered from as far afield as South and West Yorkshire.
The competition was based on a 4 man team event,with one angler from each team on one of the four boats used.The winning angler on each boat getting 1 point,2nd 2 etc.Fishing was on a catch,measure and release points system.
In perfect conditions,the fishing was slow but there were still plenty of fish brought to the measure.

2) Dave Kernaghan - N/umbria A - 382 points
In total 230 size fish were caught,with most being returned.Biggest fish was a 77 cm ling.
All the above teams now qualify for the national championships in Orkney in August
