Well after staying up most the night due to excitement on her maiden voyage, we finally launched from Hebburn at 07:30 (Thought it would be good to try the boat inland first before we took it out fishing).

We just slowly worked our we to the can (stopping from time to time to drop a line or two). All in all we had a cracking time and noticed a few boats out there from this forum (Stingray etc).

Winds were not too bad I think and we all realised that we did have sea legs so was a bonus. Any hoo, we fished and returned by 2:30 after catching 6 cod and 3 red cod.

First impressions on having your own boat and fishing................ Great!

.........and as you can imaging is was cod, chunky chips, mushy peas for tea.

    2011 Catch's so far
    ---------------------------------------
    Cod: 13 / Ling: 0 / Herring: 4 / Pollock: 1
    Biggest: Cod 6Lb
