arrived at st mary,s about ten into fish straight away small at first then as tide turned we started hitting them three at a time ranging from about 2.5lb to about 6lb it was hectic at times but a great buzz the three of us managed 31cod between us bait we used were prawns mackeral ragworm knackered now but what a day

Yer i was going to post the same, had 2 texts 1 from lads fishing at Souter that read "who needs gym when the cod in 2 at a time" and the other "hows work? its a hard day at sea, cant stand up on the boat deck for.....cod"
Seems laods about but not many size.

Sounds very good indeed, i now have a more optimistic feeling about tomorrow as i'll be heading out from sunderland about 7:30 am in the morning till about dinner time.
I hope i can manage even 20% of whats been reported and ill be more than happy.

Thats good news about the Cod. We are out from Craster Tues 18th May, will take a camera and let you guys know how we get on. Was hoping to pick up Mackie for bait when we were out?.
I,ll be taking ragworm and squid.
