Went on Flamer 2 out of H/pool yesterday.Ended up with only 7 on.Sea flat as a witches mammary,sunshine all day,tide minimal.
Started off with undersize tommies and pleggys,then one of the lads put a "feeder" filled with fish oil over the side and the ling went mad.We were using 1/2 mackerel and full squid as bait.6 in as many minutes all undersize by about 1-2 inches,so back they went.End of the day we had about 1/2 doz takeable pleggys and same with ling.Sweep was won with 6lb 10 oz ling,I was 2nd with 5lb 11oz.Last cast of last drift,snapped off cast before and VERY rapidly tied a hook on and filleted a macky,whacked it on and bang bang game on.lifesaver.
