Had our first club outing with Douggie on Wednesday 22nd April. Lovely sunny day and flat seas. It was hard work on the rough ground and Doug moved about until we hit pockets of fish. Nowt massive but good fillet sizes. Best baits were baited rippers and hockeyes with ragworm and black lug. We had on average 4 Codling each so 40 from a party of ten. Was nice to be out.

    Tight lines Mick.
Personal best, 12.5lb Tope Scotland. 22/05/2012.

Must have been lovely out of Craster Mick with that forecast. Always takes a little longer for the fish to arrive up there but, I was out from Cullercoats Wednesday, and things were slow here as well.
