Just a quick one after a few hours this afternoon, fishing the hard ground at Cullercoats. Fishing was patchy with a few coddling coming along then quiet spells. All the fish were small with the best one being about 3lb again, but this time there was a lot of very small fish.
Did you dig the fresh lures with the lug Kevin lol. Hopefully the start of the making tides next week will bring the fishing to what you'd expect late April. Well done getting a few though.

OK, I'vejust spotted that. Yes the lures were fresh off the production line in my garage. The lug are getting easier to dig over the last few weeks as well; things must be warming up.
Aye it's warming up to a typically (Good) April fishing... Lots of hard fighting fish all clean lots small with some decent ones amongst them ........ Superb fishing 😀
That must be causing you some frustration, Bert. Hopefully you’ll be back on the water before long, and in time for the spring run to get into full swing.
Is there much work left to do on Shady or are you just waiting for the weather before finishing the painting?
