Got afloat around 10 am to give Iit a couple of hours on bait. Headed to the back of the Brier dene area looking for a bit shelter from the strong westerly wind. Two rods out with two hook flappers. Nowt at all, mind, the boat was yawing all over the place at anchor, not good
Had a shift to 200 yds from the Lee of the lighthouse, and within a minute got a small codling of 2lb+, then a couple more about a pound each, then a one about 1_3/4th. Had 5 fish in total, kept 2 for our tea. By now the tide dropped slack, so headed back in.
Like I said in my last report, given the right conditions, I feel there would be better results.
