Fishing today

Well not much to report from today's trip on the North Star
We left hartlepool just on daylight with only the 2 anglers on a nice flat sea so had the makings of a pleasant day we put the anchor in and we pretty much started getting codling from the off unfortunately they were just size so they went back to fight another day once we lost the tide so things went quite so kettle on and chill out literally once the flood tide come on we managed a few more small codling to put back we managed to get a few to keep they were around the 3lb mark anyway we headed back in just after 1300 but all in all a pleasant day just a pity we had so many small codling but at least they all went back alive and we had a day out
