Out by 9 am , went to a spot which had done well for us on previous outings, was hard going picking the odd whiting up every 10 mins or so, so decided to move closer in, was only about half a mile off , and we pulled in around 40 fish in a period of an hour.
Mackeral, Some really decent size whiting coming up in 3's, 3 cod, biggest about 8lb others were pan size.
After a slow start it was a canny session, was back in for just back of 2pm so 5 hours and a few good bags of fish to see us over the winter.
that might be it for me for this year, with a sprog due in a few weeks, so instead of fishing ill be wiping backsides.
