  • the geordie christmas meet

this year we actually had our meet at the right time instead of in the summer
with some travelling from as far away as southampton and derby
the weather was with us but it was a bit lumpy when you got out past the point

    now you see them

    now you dont

think everyone had a good dozen or so cod ,plenty fish showing but mostly round the 2lb mark but james managed to get a better one to win with a decent cod of 7lb 4 oz

second spot went to mark day with a cod of 4lb 3oz
third davey todd cod 3lb 11oz

due to all the efforts of the lads we raised £170 for the newbiggen lifeboat

a big thanks to TRONIXPRO for supporting us with rigs for the meet and everyone else you all know who you are

had too steal a few photos off people to make this report as i forgot to take any photos on the day doh
    thanks jeff

It was a great day ,weather, company, venue, you and Janet organising and going the extra mile to make it another memorable day even despite you having the flu. So a big thankyou from me Jeff. Even the fish came out to play always a bonus .......Dave.
