Out with Kenny again this morning, the Zoo Keeper (Kyle) managed to get out of bed this week and Anthony & Chrissy also joined us.

As already posted by Richy & Norman mackeral were very hard to find so we started as usual inshore with the fresh crab, picked a few up but no great numbers. Chrissy hooked a canny one which weighed 7lb 8oz, great fun watching him wind it in with his coffee grinder

Moved to a couple of 3 - 4 mile wrecks where I managed to find 2 mackeral, they were quite big but there was no way they were gonna escape becoming fresh bait. Fish were still playing hard to get but we managed a few more, Kenny was fishing shads and landed a good scrapper about 8lb and Kyle landed a nice 10lber.

We ended up with 11 cod & 3 ling which is not great amongst 5 anglers but at least there were a few canny ones amongst them.

Thanks for another crackin morning Kenny!!! hopefully the fresh bait will turn up next week.
    Cheers, Keith.

Good to see the Boys out again ,just like the old days ,where's lover boy these days Keith ?

We all still got some fish I suppose even thought it was difficult , what are your thought on the Mackerel ,are the few bigguns that where caught the remainders of a shoal that was trawled up ?
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

He's in Turkey, honeymoon? wedding abroad? future wedding abroad scouting mission? or just a holiday? - who knows!

Dunno where the mackeral are, we're usually trying to get past them on the way down by now.

              Maybe next week.
              Cheers, Keith.
