  • The Boys 10th May 2009

Good old XCWeather got it spot on again so we had a little trip out on The Boys this morning, picked the lads up 5am, Bert, Kenny Kyle & myself.

Totally different morning to yesterday, nice flat calm sea which was just as well as one or two of the crew were feeling a little shabby.

The old girl could do with a lick of paint but she still produces the goods, we ended up with 23 cod, biggest 8lb+ which fell to Kenny, without having to go further than 3/4 of a mile from the pier end.

We might of had a few more but one angler only contributed 1 to the total, I'll not mention names but it rhymes with "smile" It happens to the best of us.

Steve would of been proud of my scotchie catching exploits, I manged to pull two in on one hook.

Great to see Harra and his mates out there in his new boat.

    Cheers, Keith.
