Nice one Norbert, so jealous! It is a long time until next July, hell of a wait for a boat trip.

Hope you get out again soon, great day for you.

The strange thing was that only the first wreck produced.

from the first drop we caught fish there...shads, bait...whatever we lowered down. only downside was that we also lost a lot of tackle in that very snaggy wreck.

I was very keen to go further offshore @7-8 miles ...i had this inspiration it would be even better there! . wrong inspiration...

two wrecks at 7-8 miles produced exactly nothing, not a sniff....and they were class wrecks (Zeeland and Hogarth)

so back to the first wreck at 4 miles and bangbangbang...fish after fish.

explanations.... maybe clarity...maybe seals on those wrecks...

have to add and brag: two 15 pounders in a morning fishing has not happened to me before....what a result.
and they did not photograph well...looking rather small on the photos...i weighed them on shore with a digital scale

Should have held them out a bit more Norbert. You know as the pros do.
