  • Sable Airshow Day 2014...

Early start for us today at 6.15, we arrived down the marina with no wind about and flat seas...

Sun was blinding on the way to the first wreck, must get some sun visors fitted...

By 7.30 we were both sweating our t**s off, without doubt the best day weather wise we've had this year...

Fishing was slow at first with the first wreck throwing up just 2 cod, so it was off to another, then another then we found one with fish on it, Deano ended up with the biggest around 7lb and i was among the ling, heaviest around 6lb.

Plenty ling and codlings returned today, but it still seems like the wrecks are not producing like last year...

Great day today though, had some great laughs with Deano snapping the tip off his Rubymar, then cutting it back with a pair of scissors....

Will do Chris cheers. Was going to go to your neck of the woods today for the air show with the kids but got finished work later than I thought. So went to tynemouth beach instead. Sea looked great to be out in today and at least we seen the red arrows from there anyway.
