Hello lads just a few lines to let you know we got out at Craster tody with a party from work.
Some nice codling caught-nothing huge but still decent sizes.
We headed out towards Sea Houses then drifted back to Craster. Skipper motoring back towards the coast when the wind and tide pushed us out.
Baited hooks were the best method of the day.Mussel particularly good.
Did not have any blue Storm Shads but caught a codling on a small Storm macky shad.
Oh and i got a hook stuck in my finger. Luckily managed to ease it out as it was under the base of my finger nail.
Lost loads of gear to the rocks and pots.
Just filleted my 4 codling and boiled/dressed two crabs up given to us by the skippers brother.
Mick.
