didn't get out on bon ami last week as it turned out we were 'double booked' so had to wait a whole 'nother week before wa trip oot. steamed oot at 8 with 9 happy souls on board and capn dave at the helm. wasn't long before we hit some fish, macky, pollack and coleys(undersize) sandeels and of course old bucket mouth himself. steady away for the next few hours with everybody pulling in the odd codling (except me) went a bit quiet early afternoon and the skippa contemplated goin in an hour early then all of a sudden everyone managed to hit the codling, even me! had a couple of drifts over the same spot and same again. unfortunately it was time to head back. fish cleaned, 9 happy souls climbed back on dry land all with at least a few cod for there efforts. apparantly it was quite a difficult day, what with the wind and it was quite uppy doony but nee spewa's

many thanks for the advice i gratefully recieved last week from certain members with regard to sea sickness(am still belchin ginger noo) and a suitable reel, it made a good day better. special thanks to me missus for makin me a lovely fish and chip suppa till next time........
    stop what ya deein and.........

Nice one Sir Richard the Menthol.

Skippa considered going in early due to lack of fish though - surely the lad should have stayed out later to get you on them

Another convert to the ginger - excellent use of ancient remedies (not so good as a pubic hair colour though, aye sorry to my redheaded brethren) No spew once = no spew twice = maybe no spew ever. And just in case keep a bag of the crystallised stuff on yer hip, backed up with Scopalamine or whatever it is in the Quells laddos, and a small but lethal .22 revolver to hold to the skippers brain when you want to go in but all the Cap'n Ahabs are laughing at you! You don't need to shoot em all just one - make sure there's one up the pipe though for any vigilante action.

There are no firearms on Pansai by the way but we are shopping around - pm me obviously if you've got out lying around, the skipper's eyes have been known to roll back into his skull now and again, a Taser would probably do the job

Is this the new lock keeper at St Pete's then, guiding the pansy between the walls with a gentle reminder for Mark?

you must forgive mr thomson. He's not well, so not well he partially exploded today. As it happens I'm currently sat in the freeman hospital with him - I kid yees not. Which has scuppered getting pansy out the morra. I have asked him if I can have his fishing tackle if he dies so its not all doom and gloom.
