    Great report Richy and nee doubt we will most likely pee everybody off with our general Norway craic when next time out. Pity about the wind conditions today. Was really looking forward to the Norway craic, therefore your report will have to do for now.

          I have a good story of the halibut that got away after taken a 3 to 4lb off my hook when reeling in, qas no atopping it but I will tell you next time in full

            Excellent report mate,well done on the pb, shame about the weather! Must have been just after yous got home the weather up there was perfect, with a nice 61lb cod taken in a 92lb brace on the same trace

              Weather this week is 2mph-5mph winds and highs of 22c.....defo a week or two early but thats fishing, infact thats the world...chance you take going on any holiday...went to Bulgeria last year in July and for two days it was chucking it down, came home went to north Wales for 2 days and it was 27c both days and sun burn...it keeps life interesting

                  Hi Kayos,
                  The fishing camp is so remote that you take a lot of food with you in the form of rice, pasta, frozen sausages etc which you eat during the course of the week. Therefore, the cases are much lighter for the return journey which allows the opportunity to bring home some Halibut fillets.
                  Other than your fishing gear, you need very little in the way of clothing as it's fishing gear off, into the shower then on with a T shirt and tracky bottoms for an hour before bed.
