Went off on monday late afternoon and arrived on the grounds at about four, headed home back up to amble after running out of bait at about quater past six taking 15 codling to around three and a half pound, all of the fish were taken on fresh crab with squid and lug taking very little.
Mickey was off in our boat on tuesday morning at the same mark and had 6 cod to 5lb with the fishing dying off at around slack water.
I was off for an hour with my friends new boat last night for a quick run down to creswell and we had three codling with a few dropped off, again all on fresh crab. It was a quick run back, we timed it from creswell to amble breakwaters and it took 16 minutes!The fastest I have ever done it. He has a 70hp engine on the back of his compared to our displacement hull and 15hp, oh for a lottery win, about 15 grand would do it!
