  • Short video of today. 28/04/14

Forcast was good for today so had a morning session.
8 fish brought home, and about 15 lightly hooked returned.

Spring boat fishing off Whitley Bay

Nice one Arthur, enjoyed watching that. We were out on the yaks today out of Blyth. Similar numbers / stamp of fish there too! Happy days.

i'll have some of that, had a demo last year, thoroughly enjoyed it, she could take any more so sent me back to graft.................

looks lovely conditions, with some great sport, well done Arthur.

its uncanny if you look back over the last few years at weekend weather conditions, for the lads grafting they depend on the conditions being right on a sat and sun, for the lads who have a bit of time and fish to the weather breaks lovely just to wake up jump aboard and get out , i know personally last year, while i was on my demo retirement run, i was out fishing very rarely on the weekend, quite often the weather allowed us out fridays or mondays with the weekend spoiling it for the weekend and boats tied up. personally i love the early morning starts, setting off at dawn and watching the sun come up as your steaming out.

                    well done again

no it was making sinkers where she drew the line, tyeing up while watching Mr Selfridge was doddle for her.
What i have found though, just as a word of warning, it was costing me a fortune in Nivea hand cream, she went through bucket fulls after the filleting, boning and skinning, so that will have to stop.

i am looking for cheaper alternatives to Nivea, any ideas. Rob might come up trumps with this one.

no chris, she sent him back to graft because she was sick of crispy foriegn notes getting stuffed into her nightie during the night ...

some habits are hard to give up...even in dreamland..

retirement, Paul ?.....nah..the russian/Turkish/afgan economy wouldn't survive..it would probably influence the beginning of WW3
