Well with getting the first trip under my belt the previous day i was looking forward to getting back out but as always the weather was looking poor with strong winds and showers....not to be beat me, and regular crew Chris and Graham headed out to sea and it was not the best conditions.

    But.....

First drop cod keeper, second drop the same so oooowwww this is looking good, tried a few more drifts and hit a few pouting and codling, then that wind got up making wrecking hard so we moved around abit.

After 2 hours we had all the cod in the hold we wished to keep, so anything extra was a bonus.

We took fish once again off every mark we stopped at and against the weather, with unbaited lures and bait all taken fish.

It was a winters day so we headed in with the count between the three of us, a very happy 45+ fish with all but a couple legal keeper size.

Cant wait for the next trip as it feels we are "On-A-Roll"

45 fish is a good day in anybodies books, so, well done lads, especially in those conditions and early season.
