  • Cracking day on the North Star

Left hartlepool this morning and after yesterday expectations weren't high.
With only 2 regulars on board we didn't venture to far and the plan was for me to fish also but I just didn't have time from the first drop the fish started coming over the side every drift produced fish with some good fish being lost on the way up. Anyway we ended up with 22 cod to keep heaviest cod 9 lb 10oz that is leading the northstar comp at the moment caught by Stevie and 1 ling 12lb we returned plenty of fish unharmed to fight another day

Dammit, we should have been on that trip, but had to cancel holiday!

Great day Jim, looks a fantastic catch. Did I really read correctly that our Steve is leading the heaviest fish comp?? OMG, I will never hear the end of it!!

                            See you in July!
