Myself, John. Alan and Davy left Royal Quays on slack water around 9.45am before heading North on a beautiful morning. It was a quiet start to the day with very little tide pull and hardly any wind which didn't lend itself to our normal style of fishing with the flowing trace. It wasn't long before we started picking up the odd fish but for some unknown reason the fish seemed to prefer the rather crude and "agricultural" fishing style of Alan Greener and he ended up with about 16 or 17 decent Cod.
Davy (can I borrow a sinker) Sayers and John Reynolds managed maybe about 18 between them but I had a rather quiet day where my lures seemed to attract nothing but Wrasse and Pouting.
