Another evening trip off prior to heading to Busselton for a few days away to the South if where we were staying and unfortunately all did not go to plan!
Launching again was great and we just had to watch out for kite surfers!
:
After anchoring next to the reef we were straight into fish with small snapper, whiting, wrasse, yellowtail and herring all coming to the hooks.
After a few minutes the wind increased and it looked as if we had swung around, we had! The anchor had parted from the rope!
We had a few drifts on a sandbank but the drift speed again was bonkers. We did have a bit of good fortune when this fella joined us though!

He was there for ages but I hadn't pressed the record button! What a plonker!
It was the biggest dolphin I have seen at at least 9 foot, I wish I had my goggles with me to jump in but never mind.
That was the end off the session and the next few photos are with the kids down at Busselton pier, the longest in the Southern Hemisphere. It has an observatory at the end of the pier so you can see all the life down there.
We had herring, snapper, whiting and trumpeter and had a great time!
Home and straight. To work next week them bring on the cod as soon as I get back after TCQ has been out, cleaned, polished and the engines serviced.
