3 of us left the tyne at 8 we headed upto colourcoats about 2 mile out was a bit lumpy but not to bad once out there. first drop makkie straight on just the one this drop. baited cod daylights went on next with squid out doing.makkie ragworm and prawns today ..prawns worked best last time.. we motored about abit towards st marys and back just on the hard ground today had about 20 coddling biggest 6lb also 7 mackrels good size ones and pouting nice day out

Some nice cod there, the piers will be crammed now you've reported catching macky.

we were out last night for couple hours not a makkie or cod to be caught dolphins might of played a part loads off south shields pier was a nice night out it is first time we blanked we have been getting some nice fish of hard ground dying for a fresh makkie lol
