Well i have been out 3 times this year and not a lot to write about but today was different i had a,late start due to the time of the tides i left the marina at about 09.30 and headed to the can as i had arranhed to meet up with the kelsey leigh as he was at anchor and the water was pretty clean i decided to do a couple hrs on the drift i only hooked into one codling all be it a nice fat 2na half pounder which went back as soon as the tide turned i picjed my spot and dropped anchor i used blacks squid peeler n mussell and the prawns i stayed out all day only catching 7 all over the 2lb mark i kept 3 the biggest being just over 5lb the sea was as flat as a fart it was a reaaly nice night and i didnt get back the marina till 21.20 the river was full of flotsom due to the high tides well it doesnt look like the weather is going to allow us out any time soon tight lines
