Been wating for what seems like months to get a chance to get out among the cod i saw an opportunity today so i headed out the marina this morning ended up the bltyh area at 08.20 and i was into fish straight away it was really hectic fish all over but nowt big 1.5lb to 2lb and some much smaller at lsast the rod was busy i was using squid n black lug an d frozen crab n mussel cocktails the latter caught by far the most fish i had 10 in the first hour they died off in slack water when the tide turned i gad a mad 40 mins then they vanished so i heade back to the marina i ended up with a tally of 20 caught 1 kept oh and a octopuss no photos of fish as they were let go tight lines
