Bert, Kenny & myself, had a few hours out on The Boys yesterday.

We didn't go too far, tried the usual spot off the pier end which didn't produce as it normally does so we headed a little further to another wreck. This one fished much better and we ended up with 10 canny codlings, biggest maybe 5lb. The majority were caught on cocktails of rag, crab, mussell & squid but a couple fell to pirks. Also still loads of mackeral out there.

Canny mornings fish with good craic as usual, followed by a couple of lunchtime pints in the Hive, although some people apparently stayed for liquid tea & supper
    Cheers, Keith.

                Nice report Keith.

Hope to get out at the weekend but the weather report I just read on the shore forum puts a bit of doubt on it.

Need to replace the mackrel I lost when the freezer got turned off.

                Cheers

Yer they took some catching last time Dave lol.

Bloody things, when you want them you cant catch them and when you dont want them they take a 6/0 daylight

Yer the weather looks abit naff, if the water colour is still ok at least you can get stay close inshore and still catch them.

I caught a mackeral on the biggest treble hook ever on a a big pirk.
They might as well jump straight onto the boat.
