Hi lads
Thought I’d put a report up to keep the juices flowing.
On Friday I did a spur of the moment run out on my lonesome, decided to try a few hours before the winds freshened.
Got into a spot of ground that was unusually clear of dans, set the anchor, kettle on and sat back. Lovely morning, boat sat lovely and 15 minutes later first cod came in just on 4lb. the flood was just right by this time and one after another the codlings came in, another at 4lb, biggest at 7-12oz, one at 5lb-2 & 5lb-3 and a tiddler on 2lb. just got and slack water and the bites and fish dropped off so I called it a day.
Rag and lug cocktails seemed to do the biz, with the biggun coming in on lug and squid.
Just a couple of shots of the green.
Saturday and Sunday looking good, places available if anyone fancies it, please call
