Me nd 4 mates fished off amble 2day, It never looked promising from the start as the wind was strong westerly. Started off about 2 mile off not much pulled in. I got a cod of about 3lb on my only peeler. We moved about 15 mile up the coast to craster, fished the rough ground around there. Was very hard going, the boat was drifting fast all day. Between the 5 of us we ended up with 16 cod to 4lb and plenty of mackeral. All in all a hard days fishing.
