sounds like the guy who had all the cod on the shads was a experienced angler,
catching Pollock up there on the hard ground is not rocket science a bit silver paper on your hook will take them, the trick is to use very light weights and work just above the kelp, better still weedless hooks with jellys ,you would of had a lot more Pollock

I have fished on the said boat many times and had 30 Pollock a trip all returned and many a box of cod ,we are out next week twice if you would like a lesson
maybe a bet as well (donated to the RNLI say £50 a man)

did you speak to the guy with the 13 cod,
as you say kayos your that experienced you were going to ask the skipper to move away from the fish
and we do not put catch reports on for a reason try and work it out for yourself
david northeast your not much of a boat angler either but your a canny shore angler

Anyway you don't come on here to put up reports or contribute in any positive way whatsoever. The paltry 16 replies you have posted, have all been negative and trying to wind people up. I take what you say with a lorry load of salt. I think you need to get a hobby!2016 - Cod, Dab, Dogfish, Gurnard, Ling, Mackerel, Saithe, Scorpian fish. .
