canny days fishing today on flamer 2 out of hartlepool 5 hour fishing. although fishing patchy managed 15 cod to 5lb couple of size pouting and wrasse. another lad had a ling hitting 10lb on the boat.
the rest of the group were on the maggie may one of the lads (mick cunningham) had a pollock btwn 11 and 12lb which took a ripper other anglers on the boat had pollock to 9lb and ling to 13lb.
it was my first trip on the flamer 2 and i would recommend the boat the skipper was as helpful as you could get. netting fish marking score cards and getting the tangles out. could not fault him.
also good reports from the lads on maggie may re the boat crew and skipper two top boats well worth a trip out on.

Well done ninja. Sounded like a good day out. It always seems to be good fishing down Hartlepool from what I read.
