Today is the way the weather should have been all year..perfect.

    Fishing wise...not that good

Anyway we ended up with about 12 cod upto 5lb and 4 ling upto 11lb 3oz, along with the normal mackerel, herring, colie and whiting.

    My catch report....1 ling of 11lb 3oz, 5 colie,44 mackerel, 8 cod, 3 herring and 2 whiting.

Most fish on leadheads and biated rigs.

Glad to hear you and Dave got out Richy, but surprised the sea was flat, I was at sea today but working (unfortunately - but still ended up with a few lobbies). The sea was pretty rough with a reasonable NE swell which made things difficult , just goes to show that locally things can be very different 70 or 80 miles away.

One thing that intrigues me Richy is how the hell you know at the end of the day how many fish you,ve caught. We can.t tell how many cod we've had each never mind the mackerel or whiting, do you have a tally card each?

Dave (M) are you paying us a visit this year, Dave (topecatcher) can't type at the moment due to him having an arguement with one of our seabed grabs (lost part of a finger and badly gashed another), still he never could type much or very quickly anyway!!!!!!

Theres plenty of cod on them thar wrecks and pollock well into double figures, plus good bass and the tope have arrived.

    Drop topey a line.

    cheers

    Doc

I just count them in my head Doc.

Never needed much counting today lol 2 codling, 1 colie,1 ling, 3 whiting and 1 pouting. very poor day for over 80 miles of fuel lol.

Still the weather was fantastic and the sea was as flat as i have ever seen it.

p.s lucky sod having tope down your way, wish they would get there asss up north abit.
