Well where do i start ????
I`ve never seen as many chickens(whitings) ever as wot we caught today...no kidding i was landing 4 at a time all about a pound or bigger !!! Fish bait and squid did the biz
As soon as you touched bottom and put in gear bang bang !!! 4 bigish knocks = 4 fish
Kenny stuck it out with single hook with large squid and crab after cod !! but the chickens took it every time......still stuck it out though!
Keith perseveried with his new lead heads and was catching chickens after chickens ....
tried inshore wrks and got a few nice cod on bait up to 5lb so the season isnt over by a long chalk.......OH and forgot to mention kenny also caught a LING......about 5lb so it brings us back to the question where do ling go in the winter..................?????? Also lost a few fish within a few turns off the bottom so if the weather keeps away for another few weeks then you never know ....further off deeper wks ??
Got sick of chickens could have filled the boat in no time took a lot home and "John The Filleter" blocked them then cut out back bone out into fish finger size pure boneless fillets i took them all and my bag weighed 7lb yum yum yum in batter
interesting to see the ling debate start over again ....lol

I never thought, with all those whitings about, yesterday would of been the ideal time to try the crab sticks again - the verdicts still out!!!

Great to see you're still taking fish from the wrecks lads...we would have went wrecking ourselves Saturday but the boat needed some maintenance. A little sick to see the weather worsen overnight to Sunday.
