  • Lazy Daze quick post

Launched 7-30am and straight to the hard ground off Whitley using an orange twintail and straight into fish. Only fish around 1-1/2lb ish, but all put up a good scrap on the light rod. Had a few tare themselves off as well. Quite a few foul hooked making them seam bigger till they come into sight.
Didn't bother with photo's, was only out till 10-30am, but it was nice not having my fingers blackened from the yellow dye off lugworm.
Enjoyable way to fish for a while, but still prefer bait with your feet up, letting the fish come to you.
    P.B. Cod 30lb-11ozs Balcary.

Great stuff Arthur, it's good to try a different approach at times but its not always the most relaxing of ways of fishing! Can't beat sat watching them rod tips on a nice sunny day!!!

Nice one Arthur, at least it made the short trip out worthwhile. Think I'll try with a bit bait next trip out, quite fancy just putting my feet up and taking in sun for a change. Think we are out again Friday morning if your free for trip out to the wrecks.

Possibly Mark, all depends on the wind.
