1st june wallsend rising sun rod benders had 12 members aboard the above from h/pool
fishing was slow with only 1 2lb codling taken befor midday, but skipper dave showed his worth and put us onto the fish with most anglers landing ling (biggest 9lb) and codling (to 4lb) a few wyts a couple of scotchies and a black headed gull (returned alive) but it wasnt to last with no more fish taken after 3, almost all fish were taken on squid either flowing trace or baited tricks, totals 12 codling 11 ling no macky showed today but dave says hes had about a dozen in the last week, next report will be from our first away trip at luce bay for the pack tope (fingers crossed) tight lines.
