First time the boats been in the water since 22 Oct last year ( sad, I know )

done all the preps yesterday, fuelled up and the like, ready for a launch this morning, I was expecting blazing sunshine and nice smooth seas..

nothing like that this morning, bit of a bumpy sea and crap weather

we teamed up today with lee and frank on samphire their warrior 175

had a good run over to the happy hunting ground off skinny and saltburn, to give the engine a good run and had a few hrs drifting over some nice ground

had the radio on to hear how everyone else was doing....

we had a CODLING !! just a small one tho... first of the year, about a pound and a half...

lee and frank had a few keepers, a couple of small Pollock ( not like mine )
and a couple of pan sized codling...

had to be back early so we got the boat washed off back in the yard just as the sun broke through and the sea calmed right down....

    never mind.....
