  • Predator 160 Fast fishing boats

There is a now a Dealer for Douglas Marine Predator boats [The Predator 160 and the new Predator 165] in the North East of England. Looks like the Warrior/Alaska 500 but apparently performs much better. Length is 16 foot 4\" with 6 foot 9\" beam. with a hybrid deep V / cathedral hull. Website is www. Starboard-marine.co.uk.
Coupled with Yamaha engines as a package deal but could use any engine up to 60HP giving around 37MPH. Certainly worth a look if you are looking for a new boat.

Hi, just to let you know we have just started the boat dealership from home and the internet. We intend to supply boat fisherman with what they want rather than what other dealers stock and thinks fisherman want. We are trying to give you your first choice not something similar, or what you don\'t really need.

Hi, It is not me but my son who has set up the dealership. It is up and running from home at present. He can supply Predator boats, engines and trailers delivered to your door. Looking round for suitable premises and may yet be based in Sunderland, south of the river. He is working full time till he has enough to go full time.
As far as the Marina goes, some money has been released to start with the next phase in about 6 - 8 weeks time. I think planning applications and groundwork plans are holding things up. will keep you posted.

Had the Predator in the water the last two Sundays. weather not exactly perfect but WOW! goes extremely well with the 60HP 2 stroke Yamaha on the back. Comes up on the plane quickly then ! turbo charged!!! Love it. Had it airborne a couple of times, prop and all. Frightening but stable when it came back down. Nearly 3 hours on the clock and had 22 knots so far with another 1,00 plus rpm to go. Dont need to recommend it as the boat will sell itself.

                    10%off Predator 160

                    Hello all,
The Go Fishing show at the NEC in March has the Predator 160 with a show offer of 10% off. Thats the neck end of 500 quid. If you order at the show and speak to Rob at Starboard-Marine he could make an even better package deal and throw in free delivery to your door if the boat is bought on a trailer.
Best of all you can get a demo of the boat at Seaham Harbour.
Have a look see at: www.starboard-marine.co.uk.

Braine - how about sending me a press release for the main http://www.nesa.co.uk/ site ?

That way, people who don't visit the forums will see it and the moderators won't jump on you for commercial posting

                          Hello Elton,
Sorry for that one. The predator 165 is hopefully to be at the show next week in Birmingham. I know Sea angler or Boat fishing magazine is doing a spread on it soon. It is not me who is actually selling them (the predator I mean). I know it is a relative (son) but the boat is definitely worth a mention. For STU, just send an Email to the web address with what you want and I am sure you will get a quote. I will kick A*^ if you dont!. Rob usually sends a full price list and pictures in the post or Email. You decide exactly what you are interested in, make a list and then get a price. Simple?
