Do the Tyne boats get booked up fairly early or could they be booked,say,2-3 weeks in advance as I want one for 17 April(a Saturday ),which is quite a popular day,as most boatmen will know.It\'s my birthday treat from the kids,it\'ll also be my first trip of the year, with the other 2 musketeers who I normally go with, maybe myson as well if the weather is right.Last time he had his head in a bucket for 4 hrs,did\'nt even have the energy to hoy owa the side.

Hi Tat,
Tallisman doesn\'t seem to get many mentions but I\'ve fished from that boat when I go from the Tyne and have had some excellent catches.
Whilst the other boats took much publicity for big fish last year Andy the skipper of Tallisman took some good Ling in the 25lb + mark on quite a few occasions. It would be worth a go though April maybe a little early for big fish from the wrecks. Had most success from end of May onwards.
Cheers,
Jeff.

regarding Tallisman and publicity, Tony does not want any publicity in the papers, have asked him a few times. Pity as i know he does get some good fish and i think the anglers who get them would like a mention and even a pic in the papers.Alan
