Had a great day out with dave lumley, out of hartlepool, dave headed straight out to rough ground, and it payed off, as there were plenty of mackies about, and those that got through the mackies, were rewarded with some fine cod and ling, dave took us round several wrecks, and was quick to move on if there was nowt doing. most cod were about the 5lb mark, but several made the 8lb mark,as did the ling, the odd coley was caught, and lots of whiting too, but most were put back,everyone aboard caught plenty, except one, me, never got a nibble all day, yet all around me were catching, unbelievable, still the lads were generous, and ive got me plentyof mackies to last me awhile, we will definatly be booking with dave again, well recomended.
