  • Cheers for the help.

Just wanted to thank everyone who has helped us on look out for another boat. Had some great advice where to look and what to do, to avoid getting stung. I would also want to thank the ones who have contacted me about selling there boats, been much appreciated. But we now have getting a Cracking Reiver, and would like to thank Dave Scott for all his help, I know it was probably a wrench to let it go. Just shows I was right to ask on here, good bunch of lads with some great advice.

Nice one mark, you won't be dissapointed with the reiver. When will you be picking it up. Just don't try to recover it at Cullercoats after 3-1/2hrs each side of low water with a two wheel drive vehicle.

Picked it up last night Arthur, and no chance of doing that again, learn by mistakes I suppose. It's a bit of a dilemma what to do was even thinking of getting a winch attached to vehicle and just winch trailer up to it. Wish they had concrete ramp all the way in pal. Would save being a nervous wreck

Mark, there is a large ring fitted to the wall at the top of the ramp used for pulling boats out once they are on the trailer. Attach a long strong rope to the front of trailer, pass the rope through the ring on the wall and onto the towball of the van, and drive up the ramp towards the toilets. I've used this method many years ago before I had 4wd.

                              Fantastic choice of boat.

My dad has one with a 60 Tohatsu. Great all rounder.

Bes thing we bought for it was a cover, they type with the press studs round the outside.

Keeps the boat clean and deck dry.

                              Enjoy.
