Was just asking as i have the ugly stik with a roller tip only used a couple of times but have a new boat reel loaded with braid, Can roller tips be changed for a normal tip or just best off buying a new rod?

Check if its a braid type first if it is no need to remove it, as if it is a braid type then it wont trap
