  • PERSONAL BESTS

Gonna be starting a new section (well, more of a gallery really)......

Can you e-mail me a photo of yourself with your \"personal best\" fish to be included in the gallery.

Also need details of when, where, weight (of the fish), etc to include.

Shagged Kim McAuliffe (the lead singer from girlschool), and Dee Plakas (the drummer from L7), do they count (the latter was a bit fishy as I recall)??

afraid I didn\'t get any pictures though

              I\'m probably talking \"historical\" here.

              My \"personal best\" goes back 2 years.

very bizzarre night that was alan, started in the odeon on putney high street watching who framed roger rabbit (twice) with a carrier bag full of carlsberg special brew, just sat there after the first showing and waited till it came on again, followed by a crawl round some of soho\'s seediest private drinking clubs, and ending up in squat in brixton with some seriously ****ed up people - we\'d be there about 3 hours when some got out of a wardrobe asked what day it was and then got back in... I was in full flow at the time!

                          TC ,
Just got back tonight aftera weekend which gave me 3 new personal bests so please put the topic up...will be an intresting one. But loose a few that havent had a post since 2005...thats what i was trying to suggest in another post you seem to have taken offence about.

                          Snatcher,
Glad you got one at last ...and bet you were as pleased as hell . Sorry i could not make it as the boat was still up north and went up to collect it and try a new venue. I\'m sure you will see the results cos they were awesome to say the least.

                            Dave,
Pruning of the site, it\'s contents, it\'s members etc goes on all the time - that\'s part of the role of being administrator - doing the ermmm....admin.
The majority of those who have recently been deleted, joined NESA when it was \"view by log-in only\" - they HAD to join to be able to read the forums to which they previously had access without logging in. Again, in the majority of cases, they never had any intention of ever posting on the Board.
Contrary to what you may believe, I didn\'t take offence at your previous comments - only felt that they were somewhat over-egged for the sake of a \"couple of friends\" of yours.............\"During this time I have introduced a couple of friends to it. They have browsed it and left, \"too confusing\" cant find anything.\"

Must admit, I was a bit surprised to read your comment:
\"With regards to your comments about people who should put their pc\'s back in the box, from experience they are in the majority and it is a minority who understand msql etc .....\"

Since when did you need to be msql savvy to operate the scroll function ?????

Yes, I appreciate all CONSTRUCTIVE comments and usually act upon them, but when a couple of people can\'t manage to scroll down a page to find something - that\'s not a problem with the site - it\'s a problem with the user.

TC..its a fact that most peoples attention span is very short if what people were looking for is not on a page they wont even realise there is a scoll option to look further down .

I dont want to make an issue of this on an open forum as its very obvious 2 peoples opinions differ quite considerably and this thread was not started for this discussion. Its an arguement I cant win so lets let it drop and I will keep my opinions to myself in future.
