  • Charter boat prices?

Hi, could someone give me an idea of charter boat prices per person? I live in Ashington, so would be looking at boats based in Bylth, Amble or on the Tyne really (or thereabouts).

I\'m looking for me and my Dad (who usually gets seasick) so if you can recommend a particularly smooth boat, that would also be appreciated

Looking at round about £25 per person.

Take a look in the \"Charter Boats\" section (near the top of the BOAT FISHING forum). You\'ll find boats in there for Amble, Blyth and the Tyne ports.

BTW........tell ya dad to take some anti sea sickness tablets (travel tablets will do - \"Boots\" own brand are pretty good, so I hear.)

I think the going rate is £30 these days with the increase in diesel prices.

        Cheers, Keith.

Thanks for the info lads. £25 sounds very reasonable to be honest (I assume 30lb+ cod are guaranteed? ). As for the solitare, it\'s now top of my list.

As for my dad, he\'s tried almost everything under the sun and still goes green I get a touch of it myself to be honest, bust as soon as I start catching and the adreneline starts pumping I forget all about it!

You can usually guarantee 3lb + codling lol. What you want to do is check the forcasts for when you want to go out and try and make sure you pick a calm day (preferrably with calm weather a few days leading up to it). I get sturgeon (or something like that) sea sickness tablets which work a treat.
