  • Photo's - A Reminder of What’s to Come

I don’t have much patience anyway but the suspense and slow start to the season is killing me. Here’s a few reminders of why.

Let's see some more pic's to get us through to the calm sunny days when we'll all be out cursing the shoals of mackerel because we cannot get through them to the double figured cod on the wrecks below.

Just to prove I can get up in time, even in summer….

“Hold on, that’s not the wreck.” Mid April 2011

I remember now, that’s what a cod looks like

Killing all of us Kev and if its a 2012 all over again it will kill the love forever.

Cant say i can ever remember going into May with out a single keeper cod taken home in 21 years of boat fishing, very very very very very poor start. Roll on this weekend 2 days at sea, 1 day north then 1 day south

Looks like it will be back to late calls for the weekend fishing again, the weather changes everytime i look at it...now showing 33mph WSW for weekend, last night it was 9mph north.Nice small tide this weekend, just the size i like for them wrecks

Target for this year.... Get half as few trips as 2012 called off
Catch double the amount of doubles from the boat than 2012 so we need 32 doubles
Try the grave yard again when the wetahe ris spot on
Sell the boat by Xmas after a great season
