  • Sea -otter 2 today

Looks like things maybe starting to pick up the lads had about 40 codlings between them today nothing massive best about 8lb but its nice to see bait and shadstook fish bait probably had the edge last day of the festival tommorow a bit breezy but fingers crossed a 10 lb ling is now the leader .

Saturday and sunday just gone were last two days in the spring festival but what contrast between the two days saturday saw for the lads on sea-otter 2 they had a nice and steady days fishing squid and shads did the buisness the lads had about 40 codlings in total thats a good days fishing at the moment yesterday sunday was as hard as you will get it unbelivable the difference in fishing between the two days this is what you can get with algie not consisdent at all .

Saturday i had my regular lads onboard who have fished with me for many years saturday was also probably one of the best days for weather this year upto now some of the lads were even down to t-shirts the best fish went about 8lb we didnt sent it to the scales as on the radio i heard 3 or 4 more just slightly bigger a bit unlucky we didnt nail a double considering the amount of fish the lads caught but thats fishing most of the fish werent big but the lads were well happy.

Joe he had the biggist about 8 lb.

              Alan got a nice codling.

The lads at the end of the day with a few of there fish nothing big but in todays climate with the heavy algie bloom they did well.

              paul.

Cheers bud its hard going at the moment as the tides lift this week we might just see an improvement out there its shad time now it will come on with a bang hopefully sooner than later.
