  • Bob White memorial boat comp.

I don\'t know if Alan C has mentioned it but, There is to be a boat competition on Saturday 15th July out of Amble in aid of St Oswalds Hospice. It\'s in memory of Bob White who used to run the Amble Angling Centre and entry is £5 per person but you have to arrange your own boat. More details can be obtained from Norma or Tony who now run the Amble shop on 01665711200.

Sorry Alan. I thought you may have already posted something about it on here and just wanted to remind everyone. Forgot to say that there will be a donation towards the RNLI. Bob was a great bloke so even if you\'ve no intention of fishing it may be a nice gesture to donate a few quid to the charity fund.
There will be trophies and supporting prizes on the day as well. Don\'t know if any of the tackle shop owners in the area that come on here could put up some posters in their shops to promote the event.
I know you\'ll put a cracking write up in the paper for the event Alan. Norma was full of praise for the write up you placed in the paper after Bobs passing.

Another famous geordie saying! The more you practice the luckier you get!

Not Sure if they\'ll be booked up by now Ninga...You\'d be best phoning the Amble angling centre and speaking to Norma or Tony.
