good to see the 2 east coast guys had a lucky escape at the weekend. both found clinging to their boat near the isle of man. word of warning to those who come to this venue, its not like an east coast sea. be very careful when fishing this mark. i nearly got caught out a few weeks ago and had to run 9 miles to a different harbour rather than face the sea.
i\'ve fished this area for 25 years. seek out advise if your unsure.
the boat name was `hellraiser\' previuosly owned by lts.
l ucky boys, hope they recover quickly.

I have a boat in Girvan Harbour and the sea around there can be very fast and lumpy, very different from the sea here in the North East. The far side of Alilsa Craig is scary at times.

The first post was made in 2003, not sure why easyfish is bringing old posts back to the top??
          Cheers, Keith.
